Volunteering
Our team of over thirty students volunteer with St John Ambulance as event first aiders, radio controllers, trainers, assessors, and youth leaders.

Vaccination programme
We're currently part of the largest vaccination programme in NHS history!
Our volunteers are part of a team that helps people through the whole vaccination process, from arrival to discharge. This might mean providing support to vaccinators, caring for people before and after they have the injection, or even administering the COVID-19 vaccine, after all the necessary training.
We're super excited about creating a healthier, safer and more resilient future. Applications to join the team are currently closed but we will keep you updated in the future!

Event First Aid
As an event first aider, you will volunteer at local and national events. We cover everything from campus sports events, to professional football matches, theatres, music festivals, and large sporting events such as London Marathon and Wimbledon! 🎾
For a minimum commitment of 60 hours per year, we will provide full training and uniform.
Recruitment for clinical roles have closed for this academic year. Our next annual intake will occur in October/November 2021. Thank you to all those who applied! We have now completed our selection process for the year.
Non-clinical roles
Fundraising Volunteers
As a volunteer fundraiser you can help us save lives, without ever picking up a first aid kit.
Youth Leaders
Our youth leaders lead and support young people as part of our Badgers and Cadets programmes in Coventry and Kenilworth.
Support roles
It takes more than first aid to keep everyone safe at events. Our first aiders rely on hundreds of volunteers making things happen behind the scenes. There are roles covering safeguarding, communications, logistics and more. Find out how you can make a difference!
